This old (last year) article in the Washington Post is super interesting.  It's called Pearls before Breakfast and it basically outlines this stunt/experiment where Joshua Bell, one of the most accomplished, popular, amazing violinist decides to busk for the morning commuters in DC.

Do you think people would take notice?  You'd hope so?

They need a control experiment, with a crappy violinist, obviously.
